The installation and education we received was excellent. Every word they gave they acted on and achieved. The installation was fast and professional. We had become "orphaned" as our previous solar contractor is no longer in business and our system was aging out. Suntegrity provided us with a new system and they have followed through with problems we had with PG&E in hooking our system up to their grid owing to a needed transformer upgrade. Suntegrity kept up with PG&E and and kept us informed as well. We are VERY happy customers and would recommend them, just as they were recommended to us by previous happy customers.

My initial interactions during the contract signing with Suntegrity were good. They were professional, knowledgeable, & experienced. The 5 star reviews are likely deserved if it's a straightforward contract signing and installation. Our was a more complicated situation. There were some issues that arose. I did not feel the company was particularly understanding or supportive. With the final issue, a friendly phone call instead of a terse email would have probably gone a long ways towards resolving the situation amicably. Instead it led to a situation where we parted ways agreeing to disagree. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and call it 3 star service.
Regarding Suntegrity's Response: From the very beginning, our discussions with Keith and our reason for entering into a contract was to get in under the NEM 2.0 program deadline and not for an immediate install of the system. Keith very clearly told us we would have 3 years to choose to install the system or not and that if we did not, all we would be out would be our deposit. We were in contract to purchase a house from a spec builder if/when completed per agreed upon specifications, but as anyone in the business knows, until you close escrow nothing is final. The issue is not whether we backed out of the contract with the home builder (which in itself is not accurate and Keith himself states the reasons are unknow to him) but the service and support Suntegrity provided. I sent Keith a detailed email with supporting documentation outlining where I thought Suntegrity fell short and whether all the time he claims spent was immediately necessary or efficient when no decision had or could be made to install the system if and until we owned the house. He responded with "Instead of belaboring these points, let's just agree to disagree and move on", I'm not sure what type of review Keith expects in this situation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Mr Shah was having a semi-custom home built for his parents. He contracted us to install solar and battery backup on the home. We spent a lot of time educating him, designing and permitting the system, roughing in electrical and working to secure rebates. For reasons unknown to us, the Shah's backed out of their contract with a highly regarded home builder to complete their house that was nearly done. We had more time and $ invested in his solar project than we had been paid to date and we did not charge for the difference. It is disappointing to see that after all we did to assist Mr Shah, he feels compelled to leave a negative review.
Follow Up: I have reached out directly to Mr Shah to provide him an opportunity to discuss as we clearly have differing opinions on this topic. - Don L.Sebastopol, CA110617Jun 29, 2023Updated review
Suntegrity installed 18 solar panels and Enphase micro-inverters about six years ago, which have been problem-free. Addition of an electric car pushed our electricity usage above our solar production, so we solicited a bid from Suntegrity to add 10 more panels.
Suntegrity gave us extensive and clear information about the process, provided two expansion alternatives, found ideal siting, procured county permit and installed panels on a very precise schedule, and got grid connection approval very quickly. The components are excellent, installation was timely and hassle-free, customer service was and is impeccable. The "integrity" part of the company's name is genuine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 23, 2016Previous reviewFrom sizing and designing our home's 18 panel, 5 kWh photovoltaic system, replacing outdated and fire-prone circuit breakers, quickly obtaining county and PG&E permits, then installing and tweaking the system to maximize output, everyone at RePower did first rate work. Employees came when promised, Jeremy was meticulous in his diagnostic and electrical work, installers got the panels in place cleanly and on schedule. Russel was clear and effective in sizing our system and in drafting the purchase agreement, and later in providing explanations of PG&E/Sonoma Clean Power's solar electric billing and the the internet-based system monitoring software once the system was functioning. Everyone at RePower has been consistently excellent in scheduling work and arriving when promised. It took barely a month from signing the contract to having a working solar electric system.
RePower installs solar panels made in Oregon and micro-inverters made in Sonoma County, thus supporting local and regional jobs. They electronically monitor the home system's performance, enabling RePower to quickly detect and replace any defects (in our case, one non-functioning micro-inverter).
Lastly, RePower's price for the whole package was a bit better than another local competitor (Synergy), which had provided a nearly identical design proposal. Potential purchasers might want to compare these "buy local" options. - Cindi B.Novato, CA25532May 10, 2023
We have had our system for two years now and couldn't be happier. We had talked to 7 or 8 different companies or solar consultants and just weren't sold on any of them. Suntegrity was recommended to us and on my first call to Alan, I felt like Goldilocks - they were just right.
This is a major purchase and we wanted to make sure we were going with a local company who would be around for a long time. We definitely didn't feel that the solar consultants we got promises from would be able to back those up. With Suntegrity, we got professional, efficient and friendly treatment.
Our 14 panel installation happened in one day, we were live with PG&E a few days later after the final inspection by the city.
After 2 years, our panels are producing at peak performance. We highly recommend Suntegrity Solar.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patricia S.Windsor, CA06Jun 24, 2023
Having Suntegrity install our solar panels was simply great.
Their work ethic, timeliness, skill and materials were the best.
Also, they communicate all information clearly and in a timely manner.
I recommend their products and services without reservation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael S.Healdsburg, CA018Jun 22, 2023
Suntegrity Solar is a top-notch local company (not a big national chain) that gets my highest recommendation. You will get superior service, prices, installation methods, and customer service. Everyone working there are true professionals who are at the top of their game. No gimmicks, No sales talk, only good accurate information on the best system for your needs and how to get the most bang for your buck. They use only quality products and do not subcontract any of their work. I interviewed and received estimates from 7 or 8 solar contractors and when I compared them with the others it wasn't close- they stood well above the rest.

Suntegrity is a local Sonoma County business that really takes care of its customers. Keith, Dawn and their crew are top notch. They use the best equipment. Sometimes communication gets hard once you've signed the contract, but it's been excellent throughout the process. Because of the upcoming changes to the solar credit system in California, they've been very busy, but nevertheless always ready to answer questions, explain the process, and keep us up to date on the schedule. This sort of care and attention is typical of all the people we have dealt with at the company, including the installation crew. We recommend them very highly.

Suntegrity installed 16 Panasonic solar panels and Enphase micro-inverters on our 70-year-old one-story house in one day. Jeremy and his installation crew were able to work around variations in the roof structure due to previous room additions and do a solid mounting job. Final building inspection was 10 days later and PGE permission to export power was given the next day. Our thanks to Keith's team for expediting the PGE application so that we could get in under the NEM2 program deadline. We are looking forward to seeing reduced heating and cooling thanks to the Suntegrity solar system and electric heat pump technology. I highly recommend Suntegrity for their design and installation capability for residential photovoltaic systems.

We just got solar panels installed on our tile roof and are now enjoying the benefits our own sun-derived electricity. And batteries will come next -- to take advantage of the recently released new generation of 5 Kw batteries from Enphase. This is all possible because we (fortunately) managed to find Suntegrity, a local, small, family-owned solar installation business focused on top quality installations and use of excellent equipment (e.g., REC panels, Enphase T8 microinverters).
Our first experience seeking solar for our home was a nightmare with a very large National provider that had all the hype and none of the delivery... I won't belabor that painful and disappointing experience but will emphasize the key takeaway: Find a small local business with a good reputation for quality work and attention to detail. Suntegrity hits the mark on all those points. Keith and Dawn Kruetzfeldt, the owners of Suntegrity, are extremely knowledgeable and were very responsive to our questions. Plus they have a team that is professional in their operations: arriving when they say they will; working efficiently; removing trash and leaving a clean and organized work site during the entire installation. Did I say nice and friendly...well I should have led with that. In short, you can't go wrong with Suntegrity. Keith, as an engineer and a spokesperson for the solar installation industry, inspired confidence and is a person you can count on for solid advice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff A.San Francisco, CA01Jun 16, 2023
Suntegrity is a top notch outfit. I chose them to add additional panels to my home PV solar system. I am a general contractor and work with hundreds of subcontractors so I know when I find a special company. From beginning to the last bit of PG&E paperwork the employees at Suntegrity were excellent communicators, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
