      25 years ago I visited my Wells Fargo branch to inquire about their VISA credit cards. The customer service mgr looked up my account and alerted me they grant clients three free branch consultations per month. He was tagging my visit as #2. I clarified I was not there to ask for any service, only to learn about the benefits of their credit cards to help me decide which was best for me. I was told it's all the same: 3 visits for any topic. Additional visits they would add a fee to to my account. It was hard for me to believe a business would feel entitled-enough to charge fees for inquiring about additional products, but such is the predatory spirit of banking.
      I promptly left Wells Fargo and took my business to this credit union.
      I have gotten overall reliable service, great rates, and low or no fees. When issues arise, they get resolved. Distinct from other credit unions, First Tech is quick to upgrade and polish their technology (i.e. web and mobile app). Other credit unions I've experienced are a few stages behind in tech.

      I am still with First Tech Federal Credit Union!

      I still love them. I know I gave them a terrible review but I love them, really.

      They are a great bank with friendly employees.

      NOTE: They are open on Saturdays again from 9 to 1, not reflected yet in the hours section.

      Also they have 24/7 service, you can call them after-hours if you need them for whatever reason.

      Every time I deal with any of the representatives they're so rude. The front desk workers are super sweet but the rest of the staff is so rude

      I definitely would not bank here or recommend it. I opened up an account online and had a direct deposit sent to account same day I receive a email saying they have suspended my account for suspected fraudulent activity. they said my deposit would be sent back to sender for which it wasn't they accepted deposit day after they restricted my account and then would not let me get my deposit for which was legit. I spoke with customer service and fraud department on phone they said I can go to branch and withdraw my deposit. so I went and the manager at Santa Rosa location is very rude and unprofessional. she said she would not give me my money I said call fraud or corp in front of me I brought all the documents and things needed to prove that everything was legal and she refused to service me and then accused me of opening fraudulent accounts there in past when I never have been to that br or bank and I said that's a lie and I wanted legal departments number she was even more hostile and accusing me of fraud and she knows me and has camera footage I said please call police and please provide this alleged proof or video and she did nothing of sort and talking out side off her neck now I'm going to sue her for slander and fact I'm a victim of identity theft and fraud and victim of human trafficking and I have irs documentation court transcripts stating such and that my name identity in past was used for monetary gain by trafficker and if she is referring to any such thing that may of occurred I know nothing about and or was not present for her reason to be so rude and unprofessional when I'm in person with is and statements and proof of deposit origination ect and there with holding my income needed to feed my children is a disgrace and refusing to call corporate or fraud department on speaker in front of me is down right foul. and I will make a example out of her be expecting a lawsuit against you and many more complaints.

      Once a month towards end of month or beginning lose connection have yo reset password they say shouldn't happen but does they're probably doing updates to system doesn't happen eith other banks I use

      Went in here to get my first loan and couldn't be happier. Great interest rates and deals for their members.

      I wanted to write this review because the women we've been working with is awesome, her name is Cara. She helped us out so much, explaining everything in detail and answering all of our (probably annoying) questions. We came back in a month later to pay our bill and it was nice that she recognized us/remembered our names right off the bat.

      I didn't realize that you could do all of your banking through a credit union but now that I know this, I can't wait to leave Bank of America and all of their ridiculous fees. I've banked with BofA for 9 years and I feel like all they do is take my money, small amounts here and there but it adds up.

      The credit union doesn't charge you for anything. Not only that, but you can use the ATM at 7-11, Walgreens and other select locations for free. At the end of the month if you had to use another bank for some reason, they will even reimburse you.

      I can't say enough good things about Cara and I'm looking forward to working with her in the years to come!

      So I tryed to make a payment last month on my car loan, I always pay about $50 over the amount.
      So any ways , when I called it took me to automatic voice thing ,witch I thought was great but now it won't take a payment because it says I don't owe one so it made a payment for $0 and 0 cent, I'm like, what ,ok. So of course I hang up and call back and talk to a representative and she says nope you don't owe a bill because you always over pay, I said ok and hang up , that was July 26 , now they call and say I'm delinquent, I am very angry and nobody at this bank can help me figure this out . I waited on a call back all morning nothing, so I call back and this guy knows nothing about anything, he said I can't see no notes on anything.
      This is not a way to keep my business, I will close all my account, just know first tech you have lost a good loyal customer buy not fixing, or even knowing how to fix it good ridden

      Friendly staff but very poor management/policies. Closed my account but haven't been able to collect my reward/points? Have called both the rewards center and visited the Mendocino office and neither say they can cash in my rewards? Both say the other department is responsible for handling the issue - calls can be put on hold for 50 minutes which is an all-time record for me. So being told "sorry it's not our department" is hard to take. They can have my $35.00 - I can't stand the frustration.

      Get out of corpo banking and come back to personal service-I am a customer, not an employee-and I will never go back to smells fartgo, Chase (your wallet) or blank of America.
